Future Events Check our newsletter on line for some of teh upcoming events and fly-ins throughout the Pacific Northwest. We're currently working on a schedule for future events that will include our annual Christmas party (tentatively set for Dec 10th or 17th) andmany others. We have some planning in the works for a Fall 2012 "Bluegrass & burgers" fly-in in Olympia that may be held in conjunction with another local flyin. This will feature live bluegrass music and grilled burgers. We're also looking at having a Spring and a Fall pancake and waffle breakfast as we did last year with admission pegged @ $5.00. Another planned location is Westport for a lunch get-together (they have a new great restaraunt on the field), and several others. Of course we're also always glad totake suggestions. Past Events Our 2010 Chrismas party was a huge success. See the December 2010 newsletter for details. Aug 28th: A bit of the crowd having fun at Lynden Fly-in. Aug 14th: Our Hood River fly-in was a great success with the weather cooperating fully for a change. The museum collection is centered around vintage small airplanes so if you're a general aviation type you can relate. There's not much better than a pretty lady and a vintage car. Mother nature also gave those of us who fllew down from Washington a great view of the wind blowing ash rolling over the rim of Mt. St. Helens. The light ash went all the way to the coast. .
